Greg Dorter, MA, Registered Psychotherapist:
Guelph Counsellor and Therapist

Therapist Greg DorterI'm a Registered Psychotherapist providing individual and couples counselling and therapy in Guelph. I hold a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology with additional training in various approaches to counselling and therapy including cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction and solution-focused therapy.

You'll benefit from my years of experience as a counsellor and therapist helping clients experiencing a number of different issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, trauma, substance abuse and anger.

I've worked with clients from a range of backgrounds, including immigrants and refugees, youth, street-involved clients, people living in poverty, and members of the LGBTQ community. This has allowed me to develop a very flexible and accommodating approach to counselling and therapy, and helps me relate to you, and understand and appreciate your values and experiences. I also have a Masters of Music degree in Composition.

I am honoured to have the opportunity to work with so many different people who confide in me and trust me with their most intimate thoughts and feelings. I learn something new from every person I work with, and benefit from working with my clients at least as much as they do.
